Happy Friday all! So the Ladies over at the A La Card Monkey Challenge Blog have asked me to be a guest designer for their current challenge: Vintage (oh, did I mention vintage is my favorite?).
I had a great time making this card. I colored the image from SU with my Copic Markers and then went over it with UTEE. And WOW what great stuff....this was my first attempt using Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel and boy is it ever awesome and so super nice to work with. Although it took me a bit to get used to the thickness of it (it's about the same coarseness as extra fine beads) and other than that you treat as regular embossing powder. After I applied 3 layers of the UTEE I let it cool then I cracked it by bending the image panel, then I just rubbed a bit of Rich Cocoa ink into the cracks.
stamps: Elements of Style- SU
ink: Copics, Rich Cocoa- Memento, Timber Brown- Stazon
Flower and Pearls- Prima
other: lace ribbon, 1 cream and 1 old antique button
dsp: Glitz Design
cs: Bazzill, Bazzill Vanilla Smooth (for the image/ copic coloring)
So, I hope you'll pop on over to the A La Card Monkey Blog and play along. They also have candy ;)
