Happy Thursday everyone! I’m so glad you have stopped by.
Over at the Paper Crafting Journey we have a new challenge up. It’s an awesome “Anything Goes” Challenge.
This week we have The Paper Shelter sponsoring this fun challenge and the Winner gets a $20.00 Gift Certificate for The Paper Shelter’s On-line Store!!!
For my card I have used “The Most Adorable Panda” pre-colored digi-stamp.
I cut out this fun little guy and did a little bit of paper piecing for his head. I then went ahead and sponged the edges using Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I used some dimensionals to pop up his head as well as to mount him onto the punched out branches. The background was created using four different Glimmer Mists, Old Olive and Bundled Sage Distress inks and a Bamboo-ish stamp from the Rubber King. I then went ahead and used a plastic template that has a cloud-type edge to sponge on Stormy Sky and Tumbled Glass Distress inks. I finished it off by sponging the edges of the background paper using Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I stamped the SU sentiment using Brown Stazon Ink, and then I punched it out using an oval punch and then added the sponged edge. I went ahead and did up a couple of simple layers to bring out the blue of the Panda’s eyes.
I have entered Challenge #45- Get Messy!!!- over at Birthday Sundaes!
I hope you like it- I am quite pleased how this card turned out (especially because this is the first time I have ever used a pre-colored image).
Be sure to stop by the PCJ Design Team’s blogs to see the sweet cards they have done up for your inspiration.
Thank-you for stopping by and I wish you a most wonderful weekend.
