Glam Kitty......

So I was taking part in Totally Stampalicious' Blog Hop the other day and I was chosen to receive a gift certificate for my participation- How Awesome is that...Thank-you so much ladies. Anyways, they also posted a Paper PieRcing Challenge so I thought I would take part in that as well. But then I had this great idea that I should watch "Burlesque" while making my card and well I think that's maybe where I got the inspiration for the rest of the card. It really was a fun one to make and I'm sure my daughter will be totally surprised that I made 2 bright cards in a row....lol.

So I kind of ran into some fun while I was coloring her hair- the colors just didn't blend the way I wanted them to but I went ahead and tried something (I hadn't even read about it anywhere). I used my 0.35 Black Multiliner to draw in some lines for definition and then I went ahead and streaked her hair with 4 different colors and voila....the look I wanted in the first place (I must admit I was a bit please with myself and how well it turned out after all). Here is a close up of my coloring.

I have posted this card over at iCopic Lover: Challenge   (wicked colors this week....hehe)

Supplies: Copics; cs- Bazzill; dp- Love Nest by Glitz Design as well as the Tulle; Memento Rich Cocoa Ink; Bling- Prima, Bazzill, Swaroski Crystal Heart; unknown rubber ribbon; 3D Foam Squares...lots of them :)

Well I hope you like the card.........Please feel free to leave a comment (I really do like the feedback) :)

Thanks for stopping by,

Jessie
