Happy Thursday everyone! I’m so glad you havestopped by.

Over at the Paper Crafting Journey we have anew challenge up. It’s an awesome “Anything Goes” Challenge.

For my card I have used “The Most Adorable Panda” pre-colored digi-stamp.

I cutout this fun little guy and did a little bit of paper piecing for his head. Ithen went ahead and sponged the edges using Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I usedsome dimensionals to pop up his head as well as to mount him onto the punchedout branches. The background was created using four different Glimmer Mists,Old Olive and Bundled Sage Distress inks and a Bamboo-ish stamp from the RubberKing. I then went ahead and used a plastic template that has a cloud-type edgeto sponge on Stormy Sky and Tumbled Glass Distress inks. I finished it off bysponging the edges of the background paper using Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Istamped the SU sentiment using Brown Stazon Ink, and then I punched it out usingan oval punch and then added the sponged edge. I went ahead and did up a coupleof simple layers to bring out the blue of the Panda’s eyes.

I hope you like it- I am quite pleased how thiscard turned out (especially because this is the first time I have ever used apre-colored image).

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had awonderful weekend...I know I really enjoyed spending some much needed time withmy Hubby and Kids- Kayla and I even got to get manicures and pedicurestogether.

Anyways, today over at Totally Stampalicious Mondayit is a

Here is another of the February New Releases- Funny Strollers

First I stamped mycute little image onto some Gina K cardstock and coloured it using my Copics (E44,E47, Y32, Y35, Y38, YG23, YG41, YG61, YG63, YG67, YR20, YR21, YR31, W0). I usedSU cardstock, the patterned paper is Circa 1934 by Cosmo Cricket (an older lineI had in my stash). Other than that I used some Deep Red Ribbon and some BlackRick Rack. I also used some nestabilities to make the card base as well as cutthe circles.

I was inspired by the sketch challenge happeningover at Ala Card Monkey this week (and I know I made a round card when it shows a rectangular card- but I just couldn't help myself)

Make it cute! - Is the PCJ Challenge #3

I colored upthis fun Kitty with E30, E33, R02, R46, R59, W0 and W1. I also used an Atyou RedCopic Spica Pen to add a bit of sparkle to her glasses. I used Tuxedo Black andAngel Pink Memento ink from Tsukineko.

I think it’s a simple but sweetcard and I have always adored Melissa’s PCS Cats.

This week over at Totally Stampalicious Monday we want tosee some texture on your cards or projects - so some ideas would be embossing(either dry or heat), maybe add some fabric or ribbon or maybe just grungestuff up a bit...have fun ;)

I have used Stella Peeker Another Drink for my card.

I just wanted to keepit nice and simple so I used some fabulous BoBunny cardstock (double-dot) intwo colors and for some more touchable fun I added a couple strips of feltborder and added a nice large pearl brad.

Wrap it! Tie it! Ruffle it up!

For this Totally Stampalicious Monday J challenge we want to see you use at least 3 different types of ribbon on your project!

I decided to ink up JJ Desperate Housewife for this superfun challenge.

I stamped JJ desperate Housewife with TuxedoBlack Memento Ink and then coloured her up using my Copic markers. I layeredher onto a die cut piece of patterned paper from Crate Paper using 3D foamsquares. Then I took my Crop-a-Dile and punched 3 small holes around the onecorner and threaded 2 colors of Baker’s Twine through them. Then I just unravelledthe edges (somewhat trying to mimic a dust bunny). I went ahead and stamped apolka dot background and then scuffed up the whole card face using the same TimHoltz Distress Ink that I used to stamp the dots. Next, I went ahead and usedSookwang tape to adhere a strip of thick brown grosgrain ribbon and finished itoff by adding a bow that I made using red grosgrain ribbon. I stamped this uberfun sentiment onto the card using Timber Brown Stazon Ink and adhered my imagepanel using more 3D foam squares. Then I simply trimmed the edge of the die cutpiece so it would not hang over the edge of the card.

I really do get a kickout of JJ Desperate Housewife everytime I ink her up...and the sentiments in this stamp set are all hilarious.

Fairies...Whimsical Fun!!!

Today over at the Paper Crafting Journey Blog thechallenge is to use Fairies or Angels on your project.

And the wonderful sponsor for PCJ Challenge #2 isEmerald Fairies. They have the most delightful digi stamps.

I used Isla for mycard and she’s just positively delightful to color and create with.

As soon as I seen Isla I envisioned her playing inlong blades of grass just blowing with the breeze. I decided to try my coloringhand once again at creating a custom background.

I also went ahead and stamped the background paperso it had the same theme and I intentionally did not add a specific sentimentas I thought it would be a great card to send as a just because. I then wentahead and used a Creative Memories punch to punch 3 butterflies out ofpatterned paper (from Crate Paper). The background was stamped using a coupleof stamp sets from SU and Tim Holtz Distress Inks and some Perfect Pearls.Please see the photo towards the end of the post for the list of Copic colors thatI used.

It's a C-A-S Thing...

Today is a C-A-S Challenge at Totally Stampalicious Monday J

I hope you all had awonderful weekend.....I’m guessing that mine is fun at the moment-I am in LasVegas with my Sister. (so you know I pre did this post...hehe)

For today’s challengeI used the new Occupation Bears stamp set.

I totally had my girlfriendin mind when I made this card...she decided to go to school about 3 years agonow....and I am so proud of the strength she possesses (and always has).

I have to admit I wasa bit stumped when I found out we were having a Clean and Simple Challenge...Ilove layers and always have, and who doesn’t love tons of embellishmentsright??? But I totally lucked out as Ihad a magazine sitting on my desk (it’s a couple months old) and low and beholdif my inspiration wasn’t right on the front cover...so I totally cased it (Ilike being honest..lol).

I coloured up this adorable nurse bear using my Copicsand then I used an oval punch as a stencil to trace out the sentiment bubbleand all I did was draw on a little point. Then I went ahead and cut it out byhand and ink the edges with Old Paper Distress Ink. I then went ahead andfinished the card off by using 3D foam squares to pop up the image and thesentiment and finally I tied on a piece of white/ pink Baker’s Twine.....andvoila C-A-S.

It's a Manly Thing!

Today we have a “Manly” challenge for you -> This one is for the Boys!!!

For this one I used the totally hilarious Gus Fishing …….. you can find Gus HERE

I got the inspiration for the layout from the Ala Card Monkey Challenge Blog & the tag panel from a challenge over at The Paper Players Blog

I stamped Gus using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Gina K paper, then I colored him in with my Copics (sorry no list today). I used Bazzill cardstock for the card base and then used 2 papers from the Renaissance Faire Collection from Graphic 45 (yes this paper line works for men as well as ladies). I then added a strip of drywall tape J and added a small wooden ruler I picked up at a LSS. I then cut my image panel into the shape of a tag, punched a hole using mu Crop-a-dile and then added some thick thread that I picked up at an Antique store.

Today is my first post as a design team member for Paper Crafting Journey and Icouldn't be more excited. This is definitely a very talented team of wonderfulladies.

I decided to do a 3-D project using all 3 girls as I justcould not just 1. I used a Mini Vintage Ticket Holder from 7 Gypsies and Iadded elements from the Laced with Grace line from Glitz Designs. I used thesmall flowers from Prima and then I added a Button and Metal Charm from TimHoltz. Then to finish it off I added a Butterfly that I painted with Liquid Pearlsand a chain of beads from my stash.

Totally Stampalicious Monday

Happy Monday…hope you all had a great weekend. I know mine was nice and relaxed.

This week at Totally Stampalicious Monday the challenge is………..

Sweethearts on the mind!

So I took the opportunity to use one of the fabulous January releases "Monkey Love".

I just adore these two images and I also like the versatility that the sentiments give you. I have used 4 of the sentiments on this card. I only wish I had a smaller heart punch so I could make the hearts inside look more like the candy Sweet Hearts.

And the fabulous sketch is from Ala Card Monkey

I used my Copics to color this Monkey up and I have paired him with a punched strip of co-coordinating paper that was punched out and then layered with some rick rack and some fabulous baker's twine. I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock using Momento Ink and tied it together with a mini 7 Gypsies key that I used alcohol inks on to change the color to white/beige instead of the original black that it was.

I think that Gus is always a classic and alwayshilarious. Our family is full of sport fisher-men and women. I actually fishall spring and summer long with my Husband in various Walleye Tournaments…..sonaturally I am just totally drawn to this set.

I went ahead and colored good old Gus up with myCopics and went with a nice and clean design using the Journey Collection ofpapers from Autentique. The sponging has been done using Old Paper Distress Inkand I finished it all off by adding a sentiment from the Bubble Bath Scarlettset that is available over at

Totally Stampalicious.

HappyMonday everyone. I'm sure glad that our life here has returned to a regularroutine. School, work….who knew I would be so grateful J

This week over at Totally Stampalicious Monday it's a FUNny! Challenge

Ichose to use StellaPeeker Another Drink …….she is just an absolute whoot!!!

And Ithink she would make anyone smile.

I colored her up using my Copics and finished offthe image panel by sponging on some Distress Inks just to soften the look. Ichose to go with a basic layout without a whole ton of embellishments, only afew pearls and a bit of ribbon (that I colored with my Copics so it would matchperfectly)…..I think it just makes Stella shine more.

HappyHolidays everyone. I hope you are getting a chance to spend some quality timewith your loved ones. I know I have been fortunate enough to spend time withJeff and the kids as well as some extended family.

Thisweek over at Totally StampaliciousMonday it is….SPARKLE! Add somesparkle to your creation...glitter, bling...whatever your sparkling heart desires!

Thisweek I have used the Winterbird Snowmanset.

Istamped my image onto Gina K paper with Tuxedo Black, Memento Ink and then Icolored him up using my Copics. When I was all done coloring the image I usedmy Quickie Glue Pen and added some Glitter Ritz. I used some paper from an oldBe Merry Pack from My Mind's Eye. I also used a Snow Marker to color in areasof the snow and snowballs and I also added Glitter Ritz to the snow and then Iused my heat tool to puff it up. I just love the effect it had.

Iused the sketch from Freshly MadeSketches and got my color inspiration from the JUGS Challenge.

A Delightful Snowman...

Hi there, just a super quick post today J I'm still in need of Christmas Cards for ourfriends and family and I got uber inspired by the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.

I even decided to watercolor using Tim HoltzDistress Inks- they are so nice to work with. Anyways, I just kept it superclean and simple. I started off by cutting out the main panel using a Tim Holtzdie and my Big Shot. Then I stamped the most delightful snowman from Stampin Upusing Black Stazon and added a bit of color with my Aqua Painter and inks. ThenI just layered him up and added the snowflake (also a die cut), added a bit ofribbon to the button and stuck them together using sticky dots.

Happy Monday!I'm writing this post as I watch the wonderful snow flurries outside -you know the kind with the big fat flakes :) Which totally beats the rainwe had just before the flurries started.

Anyways, today over at Totally Stampalicious Monday thechallenge is:

I think that Scarlett Mistletoe is looking fabulous inPurple...What do you think?

I stamped her onto Gina K Pure Luxury using Tuxedo Black-Tsukineko and colored her using my Copics. I sponged the edges using Tim HoltzDistress Ink. The white ribbon is from RRR and the purple ribbon isfrom unknown. I then used my heat tool to shrivel the ribbon and giveit a wonderful wrinkled look. The embossing folder for the background is fromSU. All the cardstock used is from SU.

White, Navy and Silver...

Hi there, hope you are having a marvelous week:) It's a bit chilly outside here...mind you it is about 10 degrees Celsius above our average for this time of year; so I guess a person shouldn't complain too much.

Anyways, I thought I would play along with a challenge over at The Paper Players; White, Silver, Night of Navy.

I started off by covering my cardstock in some tinfoil (which was nice as I got to use up some cardstock that I have tons of but never use; I think I used an orange color) and then I ran it through my Big Shot with an embossing folder from SU (that I just got). I used Stampin Up's "Snow Swirled" and "Sincere Salutations" stamp sets with Night of Navy ink (as well as 2 other shades of blue for some contrast). The cardstock is also from SU as well as the punch I used for the sentiment.

I just really tried to keep the design simple and not over complicated or cluttered.

Snow much Fun!!!

Hi there,Thanks for stopping by to take a boo at this card. I so loved making it- it wassnow much fun….lol.

So thechallenge over at Totally Stampalicious Monday is to use two different stamp sets on the same card/ project.

So Ipaired "Deacon Elf" with "Deacon and Ava HoHo" inthis snow much fun (sorry I can't help myself today) Side Step Card.

I have also entered this card over at "AlaCard Monkey" for

#83- All Holidays + sketch

Istarted by stamping my images onto Gina K cardstock with Memento ink and then Icolored it up with my Copics. Next I stamped on my DP with the large tree from"Lovely as a Tree" set from SU and used my piercer and black pen toadd some faux stitching to frame Deacon Elf and then adhered them to my cardusing 3D Pop Dots (oops forgot that I also used some Goosebumps spray to add abit of dimension and sparkle). Next I just added some die cut snowflakes and aborder from Bazzill (I cut it into two pieces). I also used a die cut that camewith the paper pack (My Mind's Eye) to stamp a sentiment on and put the final touch of the Copic White for snow and Voila……a super funcard.

Fun Gift Card Holder....

Hey there, thanks forstopping by. So we have had another busy week at our home- Now it’s my husband’s38^th Birthday, his Dad’s 60^th Birthday and his StepBrother Ben’s 30^th Birthday so to celebrate all of the Birthday Boys' Birthdays (including Kyle who turned 13) we had a wonderful Family BBQ. We are just truly blessed to have such a wonderful family (with quirks or course...lol).

So this week thegirls over at Totally Stampalicious have brought us a

3D Challenge!!!!!

I decided to pair “Going to Town Gus” with the inner of a toilet paper roll to make a super fun Gift CardHolder

The paper pack is from Teresa Collins and the ribbonis from RRR. I colored Gus up with my Copics, then I cut him out and popped himup with some pop-dots and added him to the panel that I already popped up. Ifinished it all up by punching out the sentiment and matting it using the samepunch. I tied the ribbon around the gift card so it is easy to pull out.

Ihave made a gift card holder this week using a toilet paper roll and Going to Town Gus.

Itotally colored Gus up using my Copics, cut him out and popped him up with some3D Foam Dots and added a few layers with paper from Teresa Collins and then Ifinished it off with some wonderful red satin ribbon (from RRR).

Happy Monday all, I hope you had a great weekend. I know we did...it was my son Kyle's 13 Birthday on Friday so we got to do some family time in Edmonton and I'm glad we did. We haven't got to hang out as a family for a while now.

This week's challenge over at the

I decided to ink up Margaret December and get another Christmas Card done. She really cracks me up- the sentiments in this set are just too fun!

I decided to color her with my Copics on Gina K paper (which is just wonderful- thanks to my new friend Donna that I met while cropping away last weeekend). I paper pieced her hat and the trim on her dress. I also went ahead and added a tree (Lovely as a Tree by Stampin Up) and added some frosted berries with my Spica Pen. Then I cut here out using my Nesties and layered her up with some designer paper from a Tereasa Collins paper pack and added some faulous ribbon (from Really Reasonable Ribbon-RRR) then finished it all off by puching out the sentiment and adding a red mat to it.

3D Frame and Ginormous Stamp Camp

I am joining my good friend Renee Van Stralen for "Ginormous Stamp Camp" on November 11th and 12th.

I am teaching a wonderful shadow box frame from Pink Paislee's Mistables Line- we are using a ton of fun products including Tim Holtz Distress Stains, Glimmer Mist, UTEE, Glubbers and some embossing techniques. This frame can be used year round and would make a wonderful gift.

The class is $45, Saturday's Cards and Tags Camp is $45, or sign up for both at $80.00. You can also sign up for kits and assemble the products at home as they come with instruction sheets. Registration ends on Nov 6th.

I hope you're enjoying your weekend so far. Today I just have a super quick post as we are off to Edmonton to celebrate my Son's 13th Birthday! Boy oh Boy....Time sure flies.

Anyhow, I have used the stamps set "Fishing with Dad" from Our Craft Lounge, as well as "Lovely as a Tree" from SU and the sentiment is from "Warm Words" from SU. As you can see I added my own background to the stamp...just to add a bit more color and depth.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone. Thanks a bunch for stopping by. So are you dressing up and going out tonight...or have any little ghosts, goblins or princesses that are chomping at the bit to go and do some Trick or Treating? I know my daughter can't wait to get going. This year she is being a Pirate Gypsy (really it's a Gypsy costume but she thinks it looks like a pirate now- due to her tights and glove-ish things we got her). My son is a bit more simple and he's just being a Guy that is riding an ostrich -ish looking bird with one of those fun guns that doesn't shoot instead the word "Bang" pops out.

But on to the fun stuff- this Monday over at TS Monday the challenge is "Halloween". We can't wait to see what you brew up for this one:)

I have used Friendly Dexter for this challenge....who doesn't love a good dragon right? He is another super fun image from artist Sylvia Zet, you can find him Here.

I created this card in my 5th wheel while camping so I have lost the list of copics that I used. The paper is from the Glowing Collection from Authentique and the Rick Rack is from American Crafts.

You've probably noticed by now that the last few projects I have made are done so with allot of the same products- I was in a pinch for time and my Hubby didn't grab my supplies from home before he left to pick me up to go camping (I was working out of town). So being resource-full and all I did the next best thing and went shopping.... hence my limited supplies (I even had to buy a cutter and adhesives, scissors,etc).

A Pair of Fun Halloween Tags

Happy Monday:) I hope you all had a great weekend. We had a nice and relaxing one that involved hitting West Edmonton Mall (that was really not so relaxed- it was uber busy) for a bit of shopping, a whole lot of family time and a nice dinner.

But anyhow this week over at TS Mondays it's a Color Challenge- Purple, Orange and Black...but since I never use Halloween cards I decided to make a couple of Halloween Tags. I thought they would be great for giving some sweet treats to my Niece and Nephew.

I used Chester Platypus from Totally Stampalicious and you can find him HERE. He's just an all around fun and wacky image I am just adoring.

A Road Trip Thanks;)

Happy Monday, thanks for stopping by. Talking about being Thankful the challenge over at Totally Stampalicious this week is "Canadian Thanksgiving". I thought I would make a bit of a fun "Thank-you" card using Road Trip Stella

She truly is a girl after my own heart....I love road trips and I can't wait to head on up to Peace River for Scrap til You Drop 2011! this coming weekend. The ladies up there are so awesome and the food is out of this world and well I just highly recommend attending this one.

I colored Stella using my Copics on X-Press It cardstock (alot of YR's and E's). I paired her with some fun designer paper from Authentique Paper. I added a bit of rick rack from American Crafts and a fun little accent piece from American Crafts as well and topped it all off by popping up the main image panel using some pop dots (all available from The Inked Stamper in St Albert, AB).

Suffer from Insanity???

Lol, I know that I definitely do some days. That's why I adore Chester Platypus by artist Sylvia Zet. I also felt like making a different from the ordinary shaped card so I made this one (I'm so tired I can't think of the name of it) and there is a tutorial for it over at Splitcoast Stampers.

The challenge this week over at Totally Stampalicious Monday is "Emboss It!" - either heat or dry embossed. I chose to dry emboss using an Embossing Folder and my Big Shot (well okay 2 embossing folders).

I had such a blast coloring Chester...I even decided to make my own background; he was looking really bare against a stark background. So I drew up the bushes and the grass line with a pencil and then went over it with my Copic Multi-Liner. Then I just layered it up and added my sentiments using pop-dots for a bit more dimension.

Ink: Tuxedo Black- Tsukineko; The blue ink is from Tim Holtz line of Distress Inks

Happy Monday all. So this week is looking like another busy one..you know with chaos and all! Jeff's out of town on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. But then he comes home and I take off on Friday to go to the Great Canadian Scrapbook Festival in Edmonton with my super crazy partner in crime Steph ;) And then it is off to Little Smoky for their last 2 days of their 5 days of crafting...so I'm like the luckiest girl in the world....lol.

Scarlette has got to be my favorite character to date.....she's fun, she's sassy and ever so glamorous (in my opinion of course). A Sketch, Some Color and Exciting News!

Hi Everyone, thanks so much for stopping by. Our family vacations have come to an end and our regular routines are now in effect (thank goodness). Anyways you may be wondering exciting news I have been waiting to share is......I have been accepted to be a part of the Totally Stampalicious Design Team (a total first for me) and I am so excited. Here is the rest of the design team over at Totally Stampalicious (I will be including the blog roll here on my blog shortly) and they are such a talented group of ladies- so be sure to check out their blogs for some awesome inspiration.

I also made a card for the Totally Stampalicious Color Challenge (on right now)- Pink, Yellow and Orange. I have used one of their wonderful Scarlett Stamps (she's one of my faves) and colored her using my Copics (trying to stay within the colors specified- except for her hair and skin). I couldn't find the perfect paper that I had in mind when I colored Scarlett so I sprayed 3 different colors of Glimmermist onto white cardstock and then ran it through my Big Shot with an embossing plate- and I think it definitely did the trick.

Sketch Challenge & It's a Two-fer!

Happy Saturday and thanks for stopping by. So I am away at the lake camping and just had to pack some of my supplies to tag along. I really love being able to create without the pressures of work, house work, kids and a husband that always seem to be looming at home. I am so grateful that our 5th Wheel has extra room as well- other wise the supplies would probably not fit. So we are camping at Slave Lake, AB. until Sunday and then we are off to Vancouver Island for a week starting after a business meeting on Tuesday....but I plan to create then as well. I have always had an issue of going to sleep when all the of our family does...so I am wide awake long after they are all sleeping.......which allot of addicts know is the perfect time to indulge in our wonderful hobby. But anyways here is my card...

It's a Girl!

So I'm away in another Province camping and fishing (we are at Sask Landing Provincial Park- near Kyle, Saskatchewan)- getting ready for another fishing tournament, but as a true paper crafting addict I had to create something. One of the guys at work and his wife had a baby girl last Saturday so it was an opportune time to make a card for their beautiful new arrival.

Hi there. I just have a super quick post today.

It's a card I made for my daughter's Grade 4 Teacher. I used a Digi Stamp from Bugaboo.......I think it's adorable. I purchased the package that came with matching papers and oh my was it ever easy to put together. I colored it with my Copics (and you can see a glimpse of my Copic storage solution in the background).
