Vintage it is...

This week’s challenge over at Paper Crafting Journey is to create a vintage inspire paper crafting project.  This week we have the Amazing Elizabeth Bell sponsoring us (she stepped in at the last moment….how awesome is that???).

I decided to use vintage peach, yellow, blue and cream for this card. I really wanted it to be soft and vintage inspired and to keep the image the main focus. I used Graphic 45’s Little Darlings Collection and my Copics to color the sweet girl J

I hope to see you play along with the Vintage inspired challenge over at the New Paper Crafting Journey Blog.

Falling to PieCes!!!

We’re falling to pieces over at Totally Stampalicious Monday J

This week the challenge at Totally Stampalicious Monday is.....

I chose to use this fun little image from the new Moo-velous  stamp set. Isn’t it just adorable???

I started off by stamping my image in Rich Cocoa Memento Ink then I coloured up the face, ears and hooves with my Copics.  Then I went ahead and used the same Brown ink to stamp my image again onto this fab dsp from Kaisercraft and added a bit of depth/ shading using my Copics once again. Then I cut out the hair tuft piece as well as the body piece and then I glued it onto my main image. I added a couple of layers and cut my main image panel out using dies rom SU. I stamped my sentiment with the Rich Coaco Ink onto a die cut that came with the paper pack. I followed the Card Patterns: Sketch #161I used another die cut from the paper pack to accent where my two dsps met up. Then I finished the card off with a couple of buttons and a touch of ribbon.

I think the card turned out all right...but that adorable image would make any card/ project turn out wonderful.

I hope you like it and I hope you’ll check out what my fellow Design Team members have made for this pieced challenge.....they are sure to impress.

Don’t forget to stop by the Totally Stampalicious Blog on Thursday J

Huggable, Kissable...

I hope you are having a fabulous week. There has been quite a change in my life…I am no longer working full-time and I have been struggling to find my routine. I know right….I shouldn’t be complaining, I should just be enjoying. But I am one of those people who struggle with sudden change and I always do find my way (it just takes a little while sometimes). But enough of my chatter and onto this week’s challenge over at The Paper Crafting Journey Blog…

Challenge #7 -> Use at least 3 different Patterned Papers

I decided to use this cute little image from Totally Stampalicious who was colored using my Copics! I paired her with a colorful array of cardstock and these delightful patterned papers from Bo-Bunny. I chose not to use a sentiment on this card just because there was a saying on the paper itself. I hope you enjoy it.

So come and join us for this 3 Patterned Paper Challenge….we want to see what paper crafting delights you have in store for us to see.

Be sure to stop by my fellow design team member's blogs to see the sweet inspiration they have for you. (The links are on the right hand side of my blog)

Thanks for stopping by today and I wish you a wonderful weekend,

Jessie

Celebrate Friendship

Happy Totally Stampalicious Monday J

Happy Easter! So my family and I are finally back from our Spring Vacation- we kind of decided to extend it while we were away. We drove 24 hours straight to get home from Mesquite, Nevada yesterday so this is going to be a super short post (and yes I just made the card J).

It's time to show our appreciation for that super extra-special friend in our life!! So, this week we want you to create a card or project specifically for a friend! (yes dog, cats, husbands and siblings can count as a friend too!)

I used this super cute image from the Party Penguins set-> perfect for a friend

So come and Celebrate Friendship with us at this weeks’ TS Monday Challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I wish you all have a wonderful week,

Jessie
